YOUR COACH

Hi, I’m Tammy R. Ferreira, and I became interested in family law as a result of personal experience, my divorce in 2006.  At the time, I had been married for 17 years and had two sons aged 11 and 15. The experience was overwhelming and emotionally devastating. My experience drove my desire to help other parents empower themselves so they can move through their custody and coparenting issues without anxiety and stress.

From 2009 to 2023, I worked for my husband’s law firm, the Law Offices of Thomas D. Ferreira, as a paralegal and mediator. In 2019, I began my custody and co-parenting coaching practice after seeing so many parents stressed out and confused about how to navigate the courts in regard to child custody in particular. Many of my clients have attorneys but still struggle to get answers to their questions and feel unclear about what they can do to help strengthen their case. Unforunatley, my husband, Attorney Thomas D. Ferreira, passed away on May 1, 2023, but his extensive wisdom around divorce and child custody issues lives on in me. Thomas also had been through divorce and together we navigated our custody, co-parenting and step-parenting challenges for 17 years.

I have a Masters of Business Administration and am certified as a high-conflict co-parenting coach. I specialize in helping parents who are dealing with a high-conflict co-parent with personality traits such as narcissism, bipolar, and borderline personality disorder. It’s often a struggle to draw healthy boundaries and heal from the trauma created from these types of unhealthy relationships and yet, you must find a way to navigate the co-parenting relationship in a way that will allow your children to thrive. I’ve been there and I’ve helped hundreds of parents reduce their stress and anxiety and learn how to keep their case out of court as much as possible.
